French Beach

I did this painting for my parents years ago. They had an original print of this scene and they wanted me to copy it in oil on a larger canvas for their study. I used the reference of their small print and added my artistic licence to the painting to make it wider. I enjoyed going the simular style copy and it turned out just they way they wanted it. Its hard to believe that people actually dressed like that for the Beach.
